Disneyland

What a fabulous time we had at Disneyland. The kids were so excited! We woke them up at 5:00am and told them we were leaving, they still didn't know where. They were starting to figure out where we were going on the plane, but didn't want to really guess just in case they were wrong. Sam was really sure when we were in the rental car and he started seeing the signs for Disneyland.

"The happiest place on earth". We wore these kids out and they were such troopers. We went from morning to night everyday playing hard, stopping only for a swim in late afternoon and then back to Disneyland. Here is just a small (really) sample of some of our pictures...I took sooo many pictures.

Posing in front of Mickey's house.

The boys loved anything and everything that had to do with pirates...Sydney wasn't quite sure if she wanted to find out what was in "Dead Man's Grotto".

They found the treasure...they all look so serious...they really were excited...really they were.

Will, our little photographer took this picture of Mitch and I. Thanks Will. Great job getting the riverboat behind us huh?

Will got drenched on the Grizzly River Run...

Our little ladybug by Francis the ladybug..."he's no lady!"

Stitch...

The big hit at the hotel was the giant water slide.

Here they are coming down...

Sydney and I spent one morning visiting the princesses. We got so lucky...Ariel is her favorite princess and she just happened to be the first one we met...Sydney was in awe!

Princess Sydney and Princess Ariel

Will got really into meeting and having his picture taken with the characters, here's Goofy.

Everyone got to pick a souvenir. Will went with making his own double sided purple light saber. "It's the only place in the world you know where you can make your own light saber."

After much deliberating Sam decided on the Captain Jack Sparrow hat complete with hair and beads. Mitch only shook his head for about an hour after this purchase. "I can't believe I just spent $ on that..." Doesn't he look cute though? Oh yeah, and Sam lost a tooth on Splash Mountain! Did you know the tooth fairy pays double for a tooth lost in Disneyland?

Sydney of course went with something Ariel, a baby Ariel with blanket and picked the baby Minnie to take home for Lucy.

We had such a great time. Leaving was a little bittersweet...everyone was excited to see Lucy but sad to say good-bye to Disneyland. The kids are counting down until we can go again. When Lucy is at least 40 " tall. They are going to start measuring her on the wall in the laundry room and when she hits the mark they say it's time to go back.

One last stop by the "F" in California for a photo op, just humoring mom at this point.

Oh, we realized we hadn't gotten a picture of all of us so this was our last minute attempt in the hotel room.
