Friends

Wednesday some of my friends from high school came over with their kids to play. It was last minute, so not everyone was able to make it. There were four of us, Sheri, Sarah, Shannon and myself and 12 kids. That was minus one child for Shannon. The kids had a great time playing. Ladybug girl and her leash were a hit!

Ladybug girl survived the chaos...phew...I think she was more than ready to go back in her cage. All of the kids played so nice together. We had the slip n slide and pool, basketball, football etc going on.
My boys were so excited to see Payton, Sheri's son. Sam and Payton are 2 weeks apart in age. They always seem to pick up right where they left off, they get along so well. It had been 2 years since they had seen each other! Sheri was sweet enough to take my boys with her when she left too and they spent the rest of the day swimming. What a great day these boys had! They can't wait for next time!
This was the first time in 10 years(!), happy 10th birthday to Avery (!), that there weren't any little babies among us!!! I guess that means we're getting older. I guess that means are babies are growing up. Here is a picture of the babies from 5 years ago:

Sydney, Mikiya, Lane, Braxtyn
These 4 babies will be starting kindergarten!

Here is a picture of some of the "big" kids from 5 years ago:

Easton, Riley, Logan, Payton, Avery, Sam, Will, Grace

Here they all are now (everyone that was able to make it that is, minus the cutie pie Boyce who wanted nothing to do with this picture at all):

Emme, Braxtyn, Sydney, Lucy, Will, Anni, Avery, Logan, Lane, Sam, Payton

They're getting so BIG! Thanks for coming over everyone!

  1. Oh wow! That picture of our 5 year olds as babies makes me want to cry! How is it that they're already going to be starting Kindergarten? Thanks so much for having us over Hannah! We all had so much fun! I'm so grateful for the friendships that formed 25+ years ago (ouch...that makes us OLD!!!) with all of you. Crazy to think that the girls Braxtyn becomes friends with in the next couple years could still be her friends in 25 years! Love ya!
