Trick or Treat

Oh, scare me!! Where did my cowboys, football players and friendly pirates go? They have been replaced. Replaced by these creepy creatures...
Sam, is that you? The skeleton

Will, the crazy viking dude.

"The purple princess"

"The bee", all of the kids have been the bee, some more then once. This is the last year we'll see the bee. It's officially being retired. Like her siblings, Lucy was an adorable bee.

The girls did not know what to think of these two...
Poor little bumblebee is traumatized.

We started the night visiting the great grandmas at the "Greens". The boys decided they probably shouldn't wear their masks inside, too scary. The grandmas always love seeing them dressed up, we made their day.

Two creepy things, a cowboy, a princess and two bees.

Then it was over to Nana and Papa's where we were met at the door by this crazy lady...
She then accidentally bumped into Lucy who fell, looked up into this face for the first time and of course burst into tears. Poor girl, this was all too much!
It was then off to trick or treat. Lucy got really into it after about 2 houses. She knew what to do, walked up to the doors with all the kids and squeezed her way to the front. She insisted on holding her own bag and would say "tant too" "tant too". Emmy's so friendly she just walked right into a couple houses. I never did get a good picture of the two bees together, they were much too busy!

Cowboy Eli and Princess Sydney setting off into the night for some tricks or treats...

Just a little aside, as I am sitting here writing this Lucy dropped and broke a glass spice jar (empty) on the floor (tile). Me: "LUUUcy!" Lucy: "Sheesh!" She knows me so well!
