Oh my!!! Mitch surprised us on Friday and decided to take the day off! (The kids are on mid-winter break.) He asked the kids what they wanted to do and they came up with zoo, aquarium or museum. Finally they all agreed on the zoo...and we were off to Seattle.

It was a perfect day for the zoo. We couldn't have asked for better weather. We finished the day with dinner at Dick's, doesn't get much better than that, at least our kids think so. We made a few stops on the way home. I am so excited I found a quilt for Lucy's bed! The boys are thrilled they found new wallets....they have been asking for wallets for so long. Sydney found a must have tutu! Everyone was happy! We wore the whole crew out and had a quiet ride home...mostly quiet anyway...

Lucy's not too sure about this monkey statue...too close to her own size I guess.
