Monkey See Monkey Do...

We spent the day at the zoo! We took advantage of the beautiful weather and went to the Woodland Park Zoo yesterday. We could not have asked for a nicer day. Uncle Adam even decided to meet us there, yeah! Sydney was so excited about Uncle Adam being there she didn't leave his side the whole day, as you will see.
All buckled ready to go with a smile on her face. We thought maybe she would sleep on the way, but no such luck.
First stop after the napping lions and meeting up with Uncle Adam was the elephants. We had lots of fun watching the elephants eat the bamboo...made everyone hungry.

Time for lunch...
Lucy is kind of new to picnics, liking being able to roam around she spent most of the time stealing the boys' food. With everyone all fed up it was on to the River Otters, one of Lucy's favorites, she was fascinated...we couldn't pull her away from the glass, I think she could have stayed standing there all day.
Onto the birds, Sam was trying to get this bird to come land on him. The whistling didn't get the bird to land on him but sure got the birds flying around the room. Disappointed he wanted to come back later and try again.
Lucy was getting exhausted but still very happy, we gave her the bottle thinking she would crash......think again, still smiling, I guess she didn't want to miss out on anything!
"The Diva"......and Uncle Adam, of course.
Sydney's favorite animals at the zoo were the zebras and the elephants.Sam didn't have a favorite, he liked everything "except for the pig".
Will's favorites were the gorillas, lions, tiger, bear and monkeys! Oh and the elephants, don't forget the elephants.Lucy's favorites were the River Otters and the little monkeys, she kept pointing at the monkeys saying "what dat? what dat?" and laughing. Notice she is still awake and smiling. What an exciting, perfect spring break day! But two minutes after getting in the car she finally crashed....probably dreaming about all kinds of crazy critters...
