April Fools Fun

The boys kind of got into the spirit of April Fools this year. They started their morning by completely surrounding and covering Sydney with pillows in her bed. The only thing showing was her face....and this is how she woke up...they of course thought they were hilarious. Then they both left for school with a fake snake, spider and lizard...boys will be boys? I could only imagine what they had planned.
Sam came home from school so excited that he fooled his teacher. He put the snake on her keyboard. He said she "jumped two feet and screamed". Then she made him go pick up the snake because she wouldn't touch it. "She's that afraid of snakes mom!" Sam was pretty proud of his handy work.
The look says it all! Oh and he wasn't too excited about getting his picture taken either. Should we just call him mini Mitch? I can't even tell you how many times I've gotten that exact same look from his dad.


Of course they had to end the day with another prank on their sister. They kept asking if they could tuck Sydney in bed last night. What's the first clue they have something up their sleeve huh? As we are heading up to bed Will says, "mom when Sydney asks where her pillowcase is just tell her it's in the wash". Okay.... Well they are helping Sydney in bed and she can't get her legs to go any farther down the bed. She was getting into the pillowcase! Yep, short sheeted! Feeling a little smug they say "April Fools" and head off to bed.
