It's Tuesday

It's Tuesday. That means soccer and flag football this afternoon. Sydney is playing soccer for the first time. She is enjoying it and she feels "big" like the boys. They play on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I only make it to the games on Tuesday since I work Thursday. Last week I heard Sydney played goalie for a good chunk of the game...she didn't let anything get past her!

She does spend her share of time socializing on the field too.

Many of the boys and Sydney's games have been at the same time too so I've been going back and forth. Thankfully the 3rd and 4th graders play together so the boys were able to be on the same team. That's one less game to have to make it too. They however weren't too happy with this arrangement at first. Especially Will, who says all of his friends ended up on the same team without him. It's even been kind of fun for them to play against their friends. It's been good for both of them. Sam does have one of his friends on their team. Will has gotten over it completely though and they have been having fun together.

Lucy is used to getting trucked from game to game. Sometimes happy about it, sometimes not so much, depending on the day.

Next week is the last week. It will be kind of nice when they are done, but it's been fun watching them too.
