Lulu is 2!

I can hardly believe my baby is 2! Where did the time go? If I think about it too much I get a little weepy. But on the other hand, there are some benefits to being out of the baby stage. Somebody said to me the other day that we are really going to be able to start enjoying doing things together as a family. There is truth to that...still it's a little bittersweet. We spent her birthday at the Great Wolf Lodge with some friends. She started out the day with candles in her English muffin and a couple presents.

Then we hit the road. Nana gave Lucy a present to open in the car, a book for the long ride. Good thinkin' Nana.

Finally, we made it to the Great Wolf Lodge. Lucy did some swimming and then enjoyed her dinner.

A little birdy told our waitress that it was Lucy's birthday. So all the wait staff came over with a cupcake and sang their special birthday song. There was a moose, a caboose , and a goose in that one!

Dig in girly girl!

Mmm...Mmmm...that was good! Thoroughly enjoyed!

She finished her special day with a bedtime story in the lobby of the hotel...she was a big girl! Happy Birthday Lulu!
