Ere Zij God

Ere Zij God! Glory to God! The Christmas season truly started with the Christmas program. It was beautiful! They did an amazing job singing one song in Dutch for the school's centennial celebration. The kids did so well and their music teacher does a superb job. She even received an unprompted standing ovation from her students at the end! I am so grateful for our school and feel so blessed the kids can celebrate the birth of our Savior!

It was raining. Will was trying to cover his red crepe ribbon so it didn't run and turn the white cape red.

Just a little history on the traditional capes. I wore one, our moms wore them. They've been around every year for a long time! They are so classic.
That was the beginning of the craziness for us, the reason there have been no posts since the day school got out. But we had a wonderful Christmas! We dove right in and started our celebrations that night at Nana and Papa's.

Sydney got Fancy Nancy from Nana and Papa. I don't think she has left her side since! It was the end of the night and the end of a really long day for the little ones. They weren't really in the mood for a picture. But they looked so cute in their matching robes we had to try.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
