Game Day with Daddy

Sydney was thrilled a couple weeks ago to go to the Husky game with daddy.  The boys both had games and couldn't go.  She jumped at the chance.  Her only complaint was that she really doesn't have any "girl" husky shirts. They are all hand me downs from her brothers.  So they were going to look for a girl shirt, you know something with sparkles or something, but much to her dismay they didn't end up finding a team shop at the Seahawks stadium.  Better luck next time.  Or better yet, there's a good Christmas idea for someone.  She loved it all!  Most of all she loved spending the day just her and daddy.  I hear she talked the entire way there and back pretty much non stop.

I can not even tell you the joy this child brings our family.  Last night she was watching praise videos on her music teacher's website.  She was singing with all of her heart and soul.  She was teaching her sister the motions.  Mitch and I didn't want to do a thing to stop that moment, a moment of complete contentment.  It was pure joy and preciousness to listen to her. Keep singing Sydney Eliza!
