Spring break seems like forever ago. We stayed home for the most part, but did manage to squeeze some fun in too. The weather wasn't very springy for spring break, so we managed to find some indoor fun. We went bowling with friends one day. It was Sydney and Lucy's first time bowling. They did pretty good. Lucy stuck it out the whole game even. She was always ready for her next turn.

The boys bowled 2 games to us girls' one. It just took that much longer for the little girls balls to make it down the alley. Some barely made it down at all. I must say little Miss Ella is a good little bowler. The boys were rooting for the moms to get a turkey...it wasn't to be though. We had fun, I hadn't bowled in so long.
When we were finished we walked outside and the weather was decent, the sun was trying to shine. So, we picked up some snacks and went to the park. The kids did some beach combing. It felt so good to be outside!

And as if that wasn't enough, the kids talked us moms into a sleepover. Remember boys and girls just how nice and fun your moms are, keep that in mind over the next 5-10 years please! The boys came here for the night and the girls (minus Lucy, who did get to sleep in a sleeping bag on mom and dad's floor though) went to Ella's. I do believe we did a good job tiring everyone out, all the big talk of staying up all night, and everyone was lights out by 11:00pm.
