I think it is safe to say that Will had a great birthday weekend. This is the first time ever his birthday has fallen on Easter weekend. What a weekend it was too! For his birthday this year we got him a new bike. The John Deere bike is getting a bit tiny for him. He was happy to pass it down to Sydney who is thrilled to call it her own now. The new bike is blue, flashy and a smooth ride.
On his birthday we went out to eat at Billy
McHales for dinner. He had his mind set on the birthday sundae. Even if that meant having to endure the happy birthday song. Don't let him fool ya...he really kind of likes it.
Saturday night we had the grandparents, cousins, etc over for dinner. Little did the kids know daddy and Uncle Adam would be showing up with a puppy. Madden kind of stole the show, but Will was thrilled and didn't seem to mind. A bike and a puppy in one weekend, he doesn't really know what to do first. Torn between riding bike and playing with Madden. Lucky boy...
(A big thank you to Melissa for the Husky cake idea, it was super easy and Will loved it! I'm sure I'll be using that one again over the next few years.)
