Racing in Mission

Memorial Day weekend Mitch, Adam and the boys went to the drag races. They were in the pit with the pit crew and spent the day with the Bill Edwards racing team. The boys came home throwing names around like they had known these guys forever. They sure did a really good job of making them feel like part of the crew. The photos are courtesy of "BJ's wife", that would be Mrs. Edwards. I get the feeling that one of her missions for the day was to get Willem to smile. Welcome to my world. They said it was like having me there, she just kept taking pictures, "but you should have seen her camera". Oh yes they did...they went there... anyway they had a memorable day as part of a drag race team and loved the excitement of all the races. Oh and the Harley racers are just "stupid crazy". Phew, this mama likes the sound of that. We don't need these two racing Harley's at over 200 miles an hour any time soon or ever for that matter.
During the race the boys had to watch from the cab of the truck:
The big boys got to be on the starting line:
Do you think they're brothers?

The boys rode in the drag car on the way back to the trailer:
They learned how to pack the chute:
And there it is Will, a smile! You just needed to get the boy in the car:
A big thanks to Bill Edwards Racing!
