Bees and Blossoms

This weather has been unbelievably beautiful, even the bugs think it's spring. Friday afternoon I worked in the yard. Things are starting to blossom and bees are buzzing. The kids came home and played outside. Saturday we did more of the same. The squirt guns even made it out. We had to keep reminding the kids that it's not that warm yet, so don't get soaked! It is still winter you know! Here are a few pictures from around the yard.

And finally this just cracks me up. I just love these little people and the things they come up with. This is how they all came out of the house. Ready to catch the bees! There were quite a few bees flying around the heather that is in full bloom in the backyard. Don't worry no bees were harmed and no one was stung. It was a catch and release project with Will doing all of the catching...since Sam is slightly allergic he keeps his distance.
