I've come to the conclusion that they learn math a little differently now than when I was in school. Last night while I am cleaning up dinner Sam is doing his math homework. Sam: "Mom what is 8 x 8? {pause} Oh yeah, 8 x 8, went on a date, and played Nintendo 64!" Me: {laugh} "Where did that come from? Who came up with that one?" Sam: "Oh you know, it's just an old saying." Me: {laughing really hard} Sam: "What's so funny mom? Didn't they have Nintendo 64 when you were a kid? Come on, it's like really old!"
