Seaside 2011

We spent 4th of July week in Seaside with my parents and Noah and Anya's family. We arrived late afternoon on the 4th. After getting settled and eating some pizza we headed down to the beach to claim our spot. We built a fire, made smores, played and waited for the show to begin. It was an absolutely gorgeous night on the beach. Seaside had a fantastic fireworks show and everyone around us had their own shows. We were completely surrounded by fireworks. You didn't really know which way to look. The kids didn't mind one bit that we didn't have any fireworks of our own. I took so many pictures on this vacation it's a bit overwhelming. So, I'll just start with a few from our first day....the 4th!





We had some excitement as we watched the firefighters swoop in and put out the fire of the people next to us...they said it was too big and too close to the grass. After a long day of driving this was the perfect start to our vacation. Seaside 2011 to be continued...
